Swimming’s international governing body has issued a warning to Australian athlete Mack Horton over his controversial protest against Chinese rival Sun Yang. Horton refused to share a medal podium with Sun at the World Aquatics Championships in South Korea on Sunday. He has previously accused Sun of being a “drug cheat”. The US government is introducing a new fast-track deportation process that will bypass immigration courts. Under the new rules, migrants who cannot prove they have been in the US continuously for more than two years can be immediately deported. Until now, expedited deportations could only be applied to those detained near the border who had been in the US for less than two weeks. A Cape Coast High Court has appointed an official liquidator to sell properties of Ghana Premier League club Ebusua Dwarfs to settle a two-decade-old debt to Great Liverpool FC. Sun pipped Horton to claim gold in the 400m freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in South Korea on Sunday.
