Students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have clashed with security on campus during a march to protest claimed brutality unleashed on them last week. The protest march, which began peacefully at Peace Junction on Monday, has degenerated into chaos as the students fly stones at vehicles of security personnel, deployed to ensure peace. Students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) are marching Monday morning from the Peace Junction to demonstrate against recent happenings in the school. Ahead of the march, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) asked all students to boycott lectures. The march will see the presentation of a petition to authorities. Scientists measured the fingers of 18 pairs of female identical twins, where one was straight and the other gay. On average, the lesbians, but not the straight twins, had different sized index and ring fingers, typically a male trait, but only on the left hand. More than 50 people have been killed and 200 hurt after a train ran into a crowd near Amritsar in India’s northern Punjab state, police told the BBC. The victims were standing on the railway tracks watching celebrations for the Hindu festival of Dusshera, eyewitnesses told BBC Punjabi. The acting General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Jacob Kwame Amoako, says the party has concluded its restructuring programme ahead of the 2020 elections. A decision has been reached between Ghanaian clubs and the Normalisation Committee for no continental representation for 2019, 3news.com has gathered.
