The much-awaited committee to oversee the reformation of Ghana football has finally been constituted by the sport’s world-governing body. FIFA recommended a Normalisation Committee to ensure the return of proper structures to govern football in the country. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed that all national flags fly at half-mast on Thursday in honour of late Kofi Annan, 3news.com can confirm. Officials in Vietnam’s capital Hanoi are urging residents to stop eating dog meat as it could hurt the city’s reputation and lead to diseases like rabies. The Hanoi People’s Committee said the practice could tarnish the city’s image as a “civilised and modern capital”. The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has supported about 919 displaced rain disaster victims at Kolgo in the Kasena Nankana East Municipality of the Upper East Region with relief items. The victims received food staffs including rice, and cooking oil the rest include mattresses, blankets, buckets, drinking cups, mosquito nets used clothes and drugs among others to support them as their homes has collapse by the floods from the recent rains in the area.
