An Accra High Court has dismissed an application brought before it by Dr Stephen Kwabena Opuni, the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board, to have his account unfrozen by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). Workers of METKA at Aboadze in the Western Region are said to be living in fear after youth of the area besieged the firm’s premises last Friday. Reports gathered by 3news.com say the youth attacked the company in demand for jobs they say are going to non-indigenes.
