Popular songstress Ebony Reigns is dead. She died in a motor accident at Nyame Bekyere near Abesewa in the Brong Ahafo Region Thursday night, 3news.com has gathered. The accident involved a jeep in which the Maame Hwe hitmaker was travelling. The jeep with registration number AS 497-16 is said to have rammed into a VIP bus. There were two other passengers including a uniformed military officer on board the jeep. The driver is, however, said to be receiving treatment at the Bechem Government Hospital. The police will receive GH¢800 million within the next six months to purchase modern equipment to help fight crime, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced. Included in the purchases will be motorbikes and ammunitions, he added. The president said the Ghana Police Service will also purchase drones and helicopters.
