The People’s National Convention (PNC) is cautioning the general public and its stakeholders that all matters and issues that need the attention of leadership should be addressed to Dr Edward Nasigre Mahama, its 2016 candidate, and Jacob Amoako, the Acting General Secretary. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday released an ambitious calendar covering three seasons of all domestic action as well as those involving national teams. By the calendar of 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 seasons, this year’s Ghana Premier League will start on Saturday, February 11. At least two bullets fired from a passing car hit Deniz Naki’s car on a motorway near Düren on Sunday night, German media say. Iran has banned teaching the English language in primary schools, calling the subject a “cultural invasion”.
