The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wants President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to “walk his talk” by ordering the release of Appiah Stadium. Chaotic scenes broke out in Uganda’s parliament as MPs debated the contentious removal of the presidential age limit. Tempers flared and lawmakers were filmed brawling after it was alleged an MP had brought a gun into the chamber. The speaker ordered a search but no gun was found, local media reported. The election of national and regional officers of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) will finally be held on Friday. A statement issued by the Elections Committee of the Association said the polls will begin from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Candidates are expected to submit names of their polling agents to the Committee headed by Ben Batabe Assorow by close of day Wednesday.
