More than 120 people are missing after a landslide in Sichuan province in south-western China, state media say. Over 100 youth living in Israel, a fishing community located within Bukom, a suburb of Accra, have been vigorously sensitized on the dangers of illegal abortion under a project dubbed ‘Abortion 360’. A private citizen, Emmanuel Korsi Senyo, has filed a suit against the General Legal Council (GLC), challenging its power to prosecute lawyers. He has prayed the Supreme Court to among other things make a declaration that the General Legal Council’s Disciplinary Committee lacks the jurisdiction to inquire into issues of misconduct of lawyers as that amounts to a violation of Article 19(1) of the 1992 Constitution. Three children and two adults who tried to rescue them have been electrocuted in a water park in north-western Turkey, local media say. The incident happened in the town of Akyazi, in Sakarya province, 100km (62 miles) east of Istanbul. The park manager and his son dived in to help the three children.
