Pope Francis has said he may consider ordaining married men – under very specific circumstances – to address the shortage of Catholic priests. Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu has ordered management of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to reinstate, with immediate effect, Dr Charles Offei-Palm, the President of the Korle Bu Senior Staff Association (KOSSA). Dr Offei-Palm was interdicted last year for what management says was bringing the name of the Hospital into disrepute, following an interview on an Accra-based radio station.
