After five major payments providers pulled out last week, Facebook’s Libra currency project looked to be on the rocks. But the remaining members have insisted it’s full steam ahead. The Inspector General of Police has announced new measures to curb police unprofessional conducts on the roads across the country following widespread complaints. The US has sanctioned two Turkish ministries and three senior government officials in response to the country’s military offensive in northern Syria. President Donald Trump also phoned his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to demand an immediate truce, Vice-President Mike Pence said. Leadership of law students across the country on Tuesday successfully petitioned President Nana Akufo-Addo to trigger reforms in legal education after an initial attempt failed a week ago due to police brutalities.
