A coalition of environmental health officers who graduated from three schools of hygiene in the country are demanding government gives them employment to avoid unrest. The graduates from the School of Hygiene in Accra, Tamale, and Ho who have since 2016 been at home without employment say it is their fundamental human rights for the government to post them to the various ministries, departments and agencies. Christians have been advised against extending kindness to people when travelling from any airport as they could be used as carriers by drug traffickers unknowingly. Mr Jeremiah Joel Ghartey of the Narcotic Control Board (NACOB)’s Education Unit, says, “Don’t accept to help anyone with his luggage or anything at the airport, let them carry their things by themselves, doing so can land you in prison for years”.
