The Director General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Michael Lujuge says the new terminal three of the Tema port is well positioned to lead in transshipment trade within the sub-region. Labour consultant Seth Abloso has said the Supreme Court ruling on  dismissal of Chief Executive Officers of public institutions provides some form of job security for heads of these institutions. Government says it will make some changes to the Vehicle Luxury Tax in the mid-year budget review to be presented to Parliament in July. Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, who announced this at a press briefing, said while the fundamental need for the law was unequivocal, some appropriate changes would be made to enhance its effectiveness. The luxury vehicle tax was introduced in July last year to levy vehicles with big engine capacities in line with the sustainable development goals to control emissions and reduce the impact on climate change.
