The Accra Central District Court has confirmed receipt of the final autopsy report from the pathologist who performed the post-mortem on the late New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North Constituency, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu. Although the court did not disclose when the report was submitted, it acknowledged receipt of the sealed document. Government has called the bluff of the Food and Beverage Association of Ghana on the implementation of the Excise Tax Stamp. Deputy Finance Minister Kwaku Kwarteng said although his outfit will engage government on this policy, there’s no going back. “Government is determined to deploy this tax stamp. The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has arrested a Tanzanian woman, Basaida Zena Jafary, with a 2.3kg of speedball, a mixture of cocaine and heroin with street value of $ 70,000.00. A statement released by NACOB on Thursday indicated that Zena Jafary, a food vendor in Tanzania, arrived in Ghana recently at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) onboard Rwanda Air flight number ET 200.
