The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has listed Ghana as one of the countries to watch on the continent saying the national economy stands the chance of expanding significantly. A private legal practitioner, Joe Aboagye Debrah, has accused lawyer for the Electoral Commission staff seeking the removal of Ms Charlotte Osei of pursuing “decades-long vendetta” against the EC chair, who has been accused of abuse of office and breaches of law. The Electricity Company of Ghana has been accused of contributing to illegal mining activities, popularly known as galamsey, in the country. The diversions that were created to aid vehicular traffic and to make way for smooth construction work have done more harm than good to motorists and commuters. The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has denied conferring any award on the Chief Executive Officer of Marwako Fast Food, Alhaji Marwan Mohammed Chaaban.
