A fire outbreak at a portion of the Suame Magazine in Kumasi has left about nine vehicles burnt, several shops destroyed and about 350 squatters homeless. Though personnel of the Ghana Fire Service are investigating the cause of the fire which started around 2:00am Tuesday at a spot called ‘Zone Nine’, the victims suspect electrical fault or rubbish burning in the area at the time. Ghana’s Police is asking the public to beware of a fake car syndicate in parts of the country, which has been duping unsuspecting people seeking vehicles to buy.
