The Spokesperson of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has declared his intentions to contest for the National Communications Director position in the upcoming national executive elections.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye made this intention known on Sunday, July 12, a day after constituency executives were elected for the party across the country.
The party’s reorganization effort towards the 2028 general elections will see regional executives elected next, after which national executives will be elected.
“Today I offer myself to serve,” the former Akwapim North District Chief Executive (DCE) said.
“I am contesting for the National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party.
“Our message is strong, Our record is defensible. What we need now is a communications team that does not flinch or surrender.”
He explained further that tendencies of opposition and intimidation will not deter him from his objective.
“We will define ourselves. Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder to work and bring the NPP back to power.”
The national executive elections are scheduled for September.
