The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged it’s supporters and, by extension, the generality of the Ghanaian public to disregard any new of government ministerial reshuffle in circulation.
“As we all strive to curb the menace of deliberate misinformation, some individuals will stop at nothing to poison the atmosphere,” a statement issued by the party on Saturday, June 6 said.
Signed by the Deputy National Communications Officer, Godwin Ako Gunn, the statement indicated that any such news will only come from the official spokesperson of government, Felix Kwakye Ofosu
“Kindly verify any such information through his official channels before sharing it,” it noted.
The statement made reference to the Cyber Security Act as having serious implications, cautioning the party’s supporters and the public to “be mindful and responsible in our communication”.
The news of the reshuffle made rounds on Friday, June 5.
