Godwin Ayamba Mahama (GAM), a candidate seeking to become the Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), has officially unveiled campaign flyers outlining his vision and priorities for the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
In announcing the campaign materials, GAM said his bid was driven by a commitment to strengthen party unity, improve grassroots mobilisation and position the NDC for electoral victory across Greater Accra’s 34 constituencies.
He outlined his campaign vision under the slogan “Unity, Jobs, Mobilization, Victory,” emphasising the need for leadership that listens to party members, promotes unity, empowers the grassroots and delivers results.
GAM said his campaign was about more than a contest for office, describing it as a call to service and an opportunity to build a stronger and more formidable party in the region.
He stressed the importance of creating opportunities for party members, strengthening grassroots structures and improving mobilisation efforts as the NDC prepares for the 2028 elections.
The candidate also highlighted competence, commitment and experience as key qualities he would bring to the position, pledging to serve with humility and dedication to the party’s collective progress.
Under the slogan “GAM — The Choice for Progress,” he called on party members to unite and work towards a common goal.
He maintained that unity and effective leadership would be essential to consolidating the party’s structures and securing victory in the next general elections.
“The journey is on. The mission is clear. The time to unite and move forward is now,” he said in his campaign message.
According to him, the campaign flier announcement marks the formal unveiling of his promotional materials as he seeks the support of NDC delegates and members in the contest for the NDC Greater Accra Regional Secretary position.
