Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia continues his relentless campaign towards the January 31 presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with a stop in the Western Region in the coming days, beginning Saturday.
Dr Bawumia, renowned for his energetic on-ground campaigns, has been on the road for the past two months with series of stakeholder engagements across various regions.
And on the latest leg of his campaign, which is constituency-based, Dr. Bawumia has in the past four weeks toured every constituency in the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo and Western North regions respectively.
Beginning today, Saturday November 1, Bawumia storms the Western Region, where he is again, expected to tour all 18 constituencies in the coming days to engage with party stakeholders at all levels.
On the opening day of his Western Regional tour, Dr. Bawumia is expected to visit three constituencies: Amenfi West, Amenfi East and Amenfi Central respectively.
Widely tipped as the overwhelming favourite to be elected NPP Flagbearer for the 2028 election, he has been unsurprisingly receiving massive welcome and support from delegates, as he engages them on his message centered on institutionalising welfare of party members and building a stronger party capable of reclaiming power to serve the country better.
