The Minister of Interior, Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, has disclosed that some recruits selected for the country’s security services were later found pregnant.
He said this may not have been the case when they applied but a decision has been taken to let them all go home.
Alhaji Mubarak made this known on Monday, August 24 when addressing the press during the Government Accountability Series.
He said the recruitment exercise is at its completion stage with the first batch of 10,000 persons ready for graduation.
He said most of these recruits are in various schools undergoing training.
He commended the heads of the various security services for their forebearance during the recruitment process.
He said those who will still be found with fake certificates will be fished out and dealt with despite reaching the ending stage of the process.
