The 25-year-old nursing student, Awal Suleman who was arrested by the police after he invaded the pitch at the Black Stars Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier match against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana was paraded in town at Cape Coast few hours after he was granted bail.
In a Pick-up truck responding to cheers from bystanders, Awal was also celebrated by family and friends as a “hero”.
