About six persons are feared dead in an accident at Gomoa Odumase near Essuehyia in the Central Region.
The accident occurred on Saturday at about 8:00am
It involved an articulated truck heading towards Takoradi and an Accra-bound Toyota Hiace Mini Bus loaded with passengers.
An eye witness told Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM on Saturday the truck rammed into the side of the mini bus, causing the head of the truck to turn in the opposite direction.
Six persons, all women, died on the spot while five others are said to be in critical condition.
The National Ambulance Service arrived at the scene shortly after the accident to help convey the victims to the Apam Government Hospital.
