Ghana Premier League strugglers Eleven Wonders clinched their first win of the 2025/26 season on Monday, December 1 following a 2-0 home victory over Dreams FC.
The win comes after 11 weeks of play in the top-flight league.
They went into the Matchday 12 encounter with their third coach of the season.
Former New Edubiase coach Emmanuel Aidoo was handling the side for the first time having taken over from veteran JE Sarpong.
Matthew Amponsah opened the score in the 32nd minute at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium when he dived to connect to a searching cross from captain Emmanuel Boateng with a header.
Leading by a lone goal into the break, Wonders maintained their composure and scored a second after almost 10 minutes in the second half.
Edmund Afurapoe got the goal as he doubled his side’s lead.
It ended 2-0.
The win, nonetheless, sees them stay bottom on the log but close in on Basake Holy Stars.
They will host Swedru All Blacks in their next game, also at home.
