Congress by Majority votes has approved the allowances and incentives proposal by the Ad- hoc Compensation committee of the Ghana Football Association.
The decision has paved the way for the President of the FA to receive 12,000 with his vice receiving 7,000 and the Executive Council also receiving 4,000 respectively.
The Executive Council comprises of five representatives from the Premier League, three from the Division One, with the Regional Association with two members and one member for Women’s Football.

Congress unanimously vote for the ratification of the October 26, 2019 – June 30, 2020 GFA budget.

The GFA congress in a unanimous show of uniformity have decided on appointing Baker Tilly Andah & Andah as the association’s auditors for the next three years. They will work in accordance with the FA’s rules and will serve as a gatekeeper for the FA in all its dealings.

President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has called on members of the association to reject anyone who tries to malign the work of the body.
He made this known at the ongoing GFA Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The FA has come under intense scrutiny over the past few years and the president believes the onus lies on it’s members to keep the reputation of the association intact and uphold it’s high systems of work and ethics.
Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, who is at the premises, has also urged the members of the association to protect the sanctity of the offices they hold in order to restore confidence in it.
“When you damage the brand, it affects you” He said.

The president of the FA also hinted the return of football soon.
Since the game’s suspension on March 15, the association has worked closely with the Ghana Health Service and government to find a suitable time when the game can return.
The president on his address over the weekend stated that “it is only a matter of time” and Kurt Okraku in an assurance speech to the football fraternity reiterated this.
“… our sport will come back stronger. Our sport will unite even better. We will be a stronger force. We wil be the most loved sport and together we will ignite passion and create wealth.
