After a scintillating round of fixtures at the various league centers in week 20, the topflight league is becoming more exciting.

The resilient round of form for Ashanti Gold in their last five games (W4, D1, L0), has taken them away from the relegation zone. The Obuasi-based club was recognized for their magnificent performance, after their Coach C.K  Akunnor  was crowned the NASCO manager of the month of June with their goalkeeper George Owu also taking home the NASCO player of the month.

Aduana Stars will welcome Liberty Professionals to the Agyeman Badu Stadium.  The Dormaa lads have not lost at home to Liberty in four attempts (W3, D1,).  Liberty will be hoping to break the hoodoo there.

The Nduom stadium will welcome two teams battling to stay out of relegation. Elmina Sharks being the home side and Bolga All Stars as the visiting team. They are placed 14th and 16th respectively on the league log.

Medeama SC will take a trip to the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday to battle it out with Kumasi Asante Kotoko after both teams won their last game on match day 20. Medeama SC had already beaten Kotoko in the reverse fixture 2-1, but Kotoko are unbeaten against Medeama at home (W1, D3).

Arguably the biggest game of the weekend, will be between the inform Ashanti Gold and the current league leaders Sogakope Wafa. Ashanti Gold are unbeaten in their last five games (W4, D1), with WAFA recording two wins in its last 5 (D2, L1).

After they lost to Kotoko, Ebusua Dwarfs will be looking to bounce back when they visit the Tema sports stadium to face Tema youth who are currently lying 12th on the log.

Wa All Stars will be looking to turn things round when they visit the Ohene Djan stadium to face Accra Great Olympics, after parting ways with their manager Enos Adepa. They accumulated 25 points in 20 games under him.

With two points separating Inter Allies and Berekum Chelsea, both teams will lock horns on match day 21 to settle matters on the table. The away team Berekum Chelsea have not recorded a win in their last 3 games.

The Accra Hearts of Oak have not won at the Nana Gyeabour’s Park against Bechem United since November 2013(0-1). Both teams lost in their last game against Ashanti Gold and Inter Allies respectively with the same score line (0-1, 1-0).
