Residents of Kasoa and its environs have been promised extraordinary banking experience as the Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) opens its third Center for Business in Kasoa.
The first two centers were opened in Ashtown in Kumasi and the second in Madina, Accra respectively.
The new location of the UMB Center for Businesses was chosen to accommodate the vibrant business sector in Kasoa and to leverage on the area’s diverse commercial activity.
The establishment of the Center there is also seen as a strategic step to address the needs of SMEs in the area and also help in their nurturing.
Chief Executive Officer of UMB John Awuah explained: “Kasoa is a rapidly growing city with lots of viable businesses and we intend to help further the growth of this dynamic city through the addition of the UMB Center for Businesses to facilitate acceleration in their growth plans”.
The bank’s Director of Consumer and Business Banking, Kevin Cain, commented: “The bank is on course to transform the banking experience in Ghana by providing pioneering banking solutions such as the UMB center for business”.
He further noted that the “the Kasoa UMB center for businesses will further deepen the banks financial inclusion agenda and play a facilitating role in growing the businesses of SMEs”.
The Official opening of the UMB Center for Business saw the presence of the bank’s CEO, UMB board and executive committee members, staff, traditional leaders and customers.
