Hajia Fati[/caption] Beleaguered NPP firebrand, Hajia Fati has pleaded for forgiveness as pressure mounts on the party to sanction her, whilst others push for her prosecution. Hajia Fati allegedly slapped a journalist on official assignment at the NPP headquarters in Accra. She later, in an unremorseful posture, said the journalist didn’t look like one but an onion seller. Ohemaa Sakyiwaa Awehenepa works as a newscaster with Adom FM in Accra, and was at the NPP headquarters on Friday, May 4, to report on the picking of party’s nomination forms. Calling her victim her daughter, Hajia Fati described the assault as a mistake and begged the media to forgive her, assuring a section journalists at the party headquarters on Wednesday that “it won’t happen again”. “I am here today appealing to all pressmen. I am on my knees begging you people. “I don’t have any grudge with any pressman, but what came, it was a mistake, so please you people should forgive me,” she said sobbing.
