After a rigorous search across the country with auditions in the northern, middle and southern belts, eight men have finally been selected for the 2018 edition of TV3’s Ghana’s Strongest contest.
The final audition – dubbed Final Eliminator – was held over the weekend at the West Hills Mall in Accra.
It was a contest of champions from the various auditions across the country. All contestants had to justify their inclusion in the list of finalists for the contest.
After going through different challenges purposefully designed to test power, strength, stamina and endurance, the following were named as finalists:
- Victor Ampofo – Kumasi
- Mustapha Arhine – Accra (Mamprobi)
- Christian Adehe – Accra (Abelempke)
- Mahmud Hud – Kumasi
- Francis Amonoo – Takoradi
- Bright Appiah – Kumasi
- Samuel Amoah – Accra (Tema)
- Sayibu Osman – Tamale
Ahead of the main competition, Mustapha Arhine, affectionately referred to as Africa Mayweather, had already a distinguished himself winning in almost all the challenges in the Accra audition, and he did similar in the final audition.

He won in all challenges in the Accra audition and three out of four in the final audition.
‘Nobody’
According to him, he “does not see anybody” as far as Ghana’s Strongest 2018 is concern.
“NOOOOBODY”, he screamed.
The Kumasi champion, Victor Ampofo, gave the African Mayweather a tough run, sharing a win in the dead lift challenge.
The main contest begins soon but the stakes are already high.
It promises to be fun and competitive with Christian Adehe, the man once described by Commissioner Daniel Budu as “ young and promising” also gearing up for the ultimate.
