Russia has flatly denied allegations that it is spreading disinformation about the new coronavirus outbreak on social media. US officials said Russian-linked accounts were making unfounded claims that America started the outbreak. Thousands of profiles on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram were peddling the theory, the officials said. The Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRCL) has announced the suspension of Takoradi-Tarkwa commercial service with effect from Monday, March 2. The service began on Monday, February 10 and has been running on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. First class rides go for GH¢10 with second class ride going for GH¢8. Management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has sent a strong warning to students who engaged in a Saturday dawn fight between Atlantic Hall and Oguaa Hall that they will be brought to book. The fight led to some students injured and several property vandalised.
