Mozambique’s opposition has called for a re-run of the general election alleging intimidation, violence and vote rigging, claims the ruling party denies. President Filipe Nyusi secured another five-year term after a landslide win in the general election. He won 73% of the presidential vote. Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku will head the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for at least the next four years. This was as a result of him winning the presidential elections held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra on Friday, October 25. The Technical Universities Teachers’ Association of Ghana (TUTAG) has described as misleading claims made by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) on negotiations so far. The Commission on Thursday said the lecturers showed bad faith by declaring strike after series of negotiations, which saw them all migrated onto the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) effective August, 2019.
