The Duke of Edinburgh has been involved in a car crash while driving near the Queen’s Sandringham estate, Buckingham Palace has said. Prince Philip, 97, was not injured in the accident, which happened as he drove a Range Rover out of a driveway onto the A149 shortly before 15:00 GMT. A 21-year-old Israeli student was attacked and killed in Melbourne, Australia while speaking to her sister on the phone, police say. The body of Aiia Maasarwe, 21, was found near La Trobe University in the city’s north. She had taken a tram home late on Wednesday after a comedy show. Affected and disgruntled petty traders at the Odawna Pedestrian Shopping Mall in the Greater Accra Region have called on government to construct a befitting and modified market to replace the old one, which was razed down by fire on Wednesday night. The police in Kumasi have arrested two persons for allegedly manufacturing and selling fake DV plates.  The suspects, Halidu Issah, 23, and Osei Kwadwo, 47, were arrested in their hideout at Bekwai roundabout in Kumasi. According to the police, the two are part of a syndicate engaged in the sales of vehicle trade plates, also known as DV plates.
