Ghana’s highest pension earner takes home about GH¢51,000 every month, the Director General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has disclosed. “He contributed for so long so he earned the full pension right,” Dr John Ofori-Tenkorang stated on Thursday, November 29, when he met a cross-section of journalists in Accra. The Registrar-General’s Department has clarified a publication in the Daily Graphic newspaper about the Tax Identification Number (TIN) not going to be a prerequisite for business registration any longer. Reggae has been added to a list of international cultural treasures which the United Nations has deemed worthy of protecting and promoting. The social media platform said it had suspended @putinRF_eng “for impersonation based on a valid report we received from Russian officials”.
