Tema LNG Terminal Company Ltd., an entity controlled by Helios Investment Partners, the world’s largest Africa-focused private equity fund, on Sunday signed an agreement with China Harbour Engineering Company, for the construction of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal to be sited in Tema. A pro-National Democratic Congress (NDC) vigilante group called the Hawks halted the regional executive elections taking place at the Tweneboah Kodua SHS in Sekyere Kumawu in the Ashanti Region. Indonesia is planning to bid for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the country’s president Joko Widodo has announced. It comes after a meeting with International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach on Saturday. Brazil’s top electoral court has ruled that jailed former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva cannot run as a candidate in the presidential election because of his corruption conviction.
