Poverty, lack of education, irresponsible parenting, laziness, and religion and culture are identified causes…

If former president John Mahama’s social media post a few days back is an indication of his intentions of making a return to the presidency, then just another spanner has been thrown into his wheels. This time not by potential challengers for the National Democratic Congress’ presidential primaries but by Professor Stephen Adei, a former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). The learned professor, who is credited for reforming GIMPA from a sordid past to its present glory, stands by his accusations against the former president’s administration. The former rector and former UN ambassador to…

The 39-year-old ex-Chelsea and England midfielder said he spent “considerable time” discussing the role. He replaces Gary Rowett after he left to join fellow Championship side Stoke. Lampard is set to be unveiled to the media at a press conference at 14:00 BST on Thursday – which…
Solicitors of a Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye, have written to musician Kwame Asare Obeng to apologise and retract “defamatory” claims or else they file a suit on behalf of their client against him. The claims were said to have been published on social media by the musician, popularly known as A-Plus. According to the letter signed by Samson Lardy Anyenini of A-Partners @Law, A-Plus seemed to have gone on a “sustained crusade” to damage the reputation of Mr Asenso-Boakye. It noted that A-Plus resumed his action after the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) of the Ghana Police Service began…
