Hawkers in Koforidua in the Eastern Region on Thursday demonstrated against the New Juaben Municipal Assembly to relocate them off the street to a new place. The Ghana Education Service is set to conduct a nationwide audit on the implementation of the Free Compulsory Universal Basic Education (F-CUBE) programme. Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has been appointed as Chancellor for the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) in the Western Region. The decision was made at the 62nd meeting of the Council of UMaT held on Friday, September 15, 2017.
