Three suspected armed robbers who allegedly slashed the wrist of a 26-year-old hairdresser to take her mobile phone in Sunyani, have been arrested. The victim, whose name has been withheld by the police, has been taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi due to the severity of the wound. The wrist was nearly severed. 213 persons suspected to be engaging in crime and other crime related activities have been rounded up in a joint security operation dubbed Operation Calm Life in Sekondi–Takoradi in the Western Region.
