Thirty people who allegedly attacked a team of police personnel on duty at Libga, a community near Savelugu in the Northern Region, have been arrested. A single-barrel gun was retrieved from one of them, a woman, following a search on her, the Police said. The acting Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh, has dispatched a team from the Police headquarters in Accra to assist the Central Regional Command to investigate the killing of two police officers at Kasoa.
