A violent clash over a disputed parcel of land at Dagombaline in Kumasi has left seven persons with severe machete wounds and two buildings as well as a makeshift structure burnt down. An aircraft built by South African teenagers has successfully landed in Egypt three weeks after it set off from Cape Town. The four-seater Sling 4 plane was assembled by a group of 20 students from vastly different backgrounds. Senior Lecturer at the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, Professor Joseph Atsu Ayee, has called on government to design a comprehensive legislation to promote party accountability and prevent money laundering in political elections.
