Management of the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) has tasked consumers to report persons who sell sub-standard products on the market. Chairman of the Governing Council of Dominion University College Professor Felix Nikoi Hammond has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to urgently reconsider the funding module of his government’s flagship programme, Free Senior High School Programme. The suspected ringleader of Saturday’s failed coup plot in Ethiopia’s Amhara region is on the run, a senior security official has told the BBC. Four top officials, including the army chief, were killed while thwarting the coup, officials said. The Ghana Health Service (GHS) says steps are in place to ban the use of mobile phones among health workers. The step, according to the Director General of the GHS, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare, has become necessary due to the numerous complaints of how health professionals spend time on their phones while attending to patients.
