A Takoradi Circuit Court presided over by Justice Aboagye Tandoh has sentenced two persons who attacked a taxi driver and snatched his car from him to a total of 24 years imprisonment, Thursday, May 30, 2019. The two – Ernest Asamoah, 20 and Bright Essilfie, 21 – are to serve 12 years each in hard labour. A Japanese man has died on a flight from Mexico City after ingesting 246 bags of cocaine. The flight, bound for Japan’s Narita International Airport, had to make an emergency landing in Mexico’s Sonora state after he began to have seizures.
