A teenager in India who was allegedly raped by two school staff over a three-month period is in critical condition after being forced to have an abortion. Doctors told BBC Hindi she has suffered brain damage. Police have arrested the director of her school and a teacher in the northern state of Rajasthan. Government has begun talks with the Securities and Exchanges Commission to list more state owned enterprises on the stocks exchange. The move is among others expected to solve the financial challenges facing most SOEs in Ghana. The listing of the companies should also increase public ownership in the over 48 various SOEs. The High Court has rejected a bail application by the Abelemkpe Branch Manager of Mawarko Restaurant, Jihad Chabaan, who was jailed nine months on August 2. He was found guilty by the Abeka District Court of assault and causing harm to one Evelyn Boakye a caterer at the restaurant. The Bagre Dam in Burkina Faso would not be spilled this year due to the low level of the water.  The current level is two meters short of the 235 meters that have necessitated the annual spillage destroying properties downstream. The dam was constructed in 1992, operating on two turbines with a generation capacity of 16 megawatts.
