The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect, who is said to be the kingpin of fraud and robbery syndicate. The suspect, 36, was arrested after he has displayed a stolen judge’s car. The police alleged Nene Tetteh, who is a car dealer, spotted an unregistered Hyundai Accent saloon car displayed for sale on April 6. Ghana government says it will not extend its programme with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) when it expires in April next year, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured. Hundreds of motorbikes without the necessary registration documents were Tuesday seized within the Accra metropolis in a new nationwide exercise by the Ghana Police to end the use of unlicenced motorbikes in the country.
