The contractor working on the Kpalbe Community Day Senior High School in the Salaga North District of the Northern Region has removed his equipment from site and abandoned the project. The contractor, Hatoum Construction, a Tamale-based firm was on Thursday February 9, 2017 seen by residents allegedly packing molded blocks meant for the construction of the school into a truck. The committee in charge of the Ghana@60 anniversary is considering a proposal to construct a psychiatric hospital, vice chairman of the committee, Samuel Abu Jinapor has disclosed. The Korle-Bu Senior Staff Association (KOSSA) has petitioned the Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang-Manu to probe financial mismanagement at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. North Korea has fired a ballistic missile in the first such test since Donald Trump took office as US president. Mr Trump assured Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that “America stands behind Japan, its great ally, 100%”.
