Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Pius Enam Hadzide has finally broken his silence after his reinstatement by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He, together with National Sports Authority Board Chairman Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, was reinstated by the president after undergoing investigation for alleged visa racketeering on the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Speaking on TV3’s Newday on Wednesday, the reinstated Deputy Youth and Sports Minister said he has rededicated himself to support his minister Isaac Asiamah’s objective and vision for the ministry.
“I speak but I don’t drive policy but give suggestions,” he said.
“I am here to support the vision of the honourable minister.”
‘Very listening & accommodating’
He added that the feeling of bettering the life of the youth and sports in Ghana is still within him.
“It is the same feeling, when we came in, the first time, every day you wake up asking yourself what can I do, what can I say, that will better the life of the Ghanaian youth and a lot of Ghanaian sports,” he revealed, “because that is the area the president has put you in charge of to support the honourable minister”.
According to Mr Hadzide, he will continue to make make suggestions to his “very listening and very accommodating” boss.
“It is true as deputy minister I don’t drive policy but it is also through that you can make suggestions and I am with the view that the minister is very listening and very accommodating”.
He added that he is back to support the minister, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, to achieve whatever objective and vision that he has.
