Security at the various banks in the country has been beefed because of the inability to identify those who put on nose masks and face shield to the banking halls. The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Association of Bankers (GAB), John Awuah, who made the revelation, explained that even though these security measures are not visible to the general public, a lot is being done behind the scenes to ensure adequate protection. The petition filed by pressure group Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) has been summarily dismissed by the Presidency.
