Seismologist Dr Lucy Jones said the quakes could continue. “This is an earthquake sequence,” she said at a press conference. “It will be ongoing.” “Every earthquake makes another earthquake more likely,” she added, saying there was a…

The Tamale South Member of Parliament said he has been part of every meeting on the new chamber and, in fact, had to even call for the change of time of the Speaker’s invitation for a meeting on Friday, July 5. “My views on it, Mr Speaker, are matters of view that are on record in the minutes and in the recording of the proceedings of the Parliamentary [Service] Board.” Haruna Iddrisu was clarifying…
Paying Courtesy calls on Statesmen & dignitaries is beautiful & to a large extent Shows the level of respect we accord them. In that vein , I commend Ruftown Records & their Signee, Wendy Shay, for paying a Courtesy call on former president Kufuor. I however see everything wrong with the Skimpy-Crop Top that ‘Spilled’ Wendy’s belly in the picture with the Former Head Of State. I am tempted to believe , Wendy showing her midriff & Small Of her waist area , was a well thought-through ploy to tease the Ex President’s libido and ultimately get a premeditated reaction.…

NOTE: I use marijuana and ganja interchangeably to mean ‘weed’ in this piece. Apart from his family, I think nobody knew his real name. He was nicknamed Kilo, a man who served as a barber somewhere in Sunynai, the capital of the Bono Region. In Kilo’s barbering shop were about seven calico-cloth-made caps. They [caps] were usually temporary gifts to his clients. Clients who were mainly outsiders who went to Kilo’s salon to have a shave. “Senior, for this haircut I have just given you, I must give you one of my caps. You must return it when your hair…
