The Northern Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has reviewed the security measures in Chereponi and Saboba districts following renewed clashes that have so far claimed one life. The government of Ghana under Section 43 of the Minerals and Mining Act of 2006, Act 732, has 10 per cent Carried Interest in all mining companies registered under the Companies Act of 1963. There was uneasy calm in some communities in the Lower Manya Krobo municipality of the Eastern Region on Tuesday morning as staff of Power Distribution Services (PDS) continue disconnecting households who are in debt for two or more years.
