He was also part of the national squad that won two successive European Championships, in 2008 and 2012, and the World Cup in 2010. A Porto statement read: “Casillas suffered an acute myocardial infarction during Wednesday morning training session held at the PortoGaia training centre in Olival. “The work session was promptly…
The Special Cup under the auspices of the Normalisation Committee overseeing the Ghana Football Association (GFA) began in earnest across the country as efforts at bringing back domestic football are doubled. On Sunday, 12 Ghana Premier League clubs took to the field in what is supposed to sustain them as the sport crawls back after the Anas exposé brought it to a grinding halt. At the Accra Sports Stadium, Kwadwo Obeng Jnr’s 48th minute strike was what separated Hearts of Oak from their steeled opponents Dreams FC. Abas Mohammed also achieved a similar feat for Asante Kotoko in their 1-0…
“The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it” What you’re seeing in the picture below isn’t huge eggs of some mysterious quails, neither are they the raw paintings of Leonardo Davinci. No! That is a raw photograph of uterine fibroids which were removed from the uterus of a lady in her early thirties three days ago. Right now, someone may be wondering, why this? I am a liberal Presbyterian, I pray to God often and I am also a believer of miracles. My life has been full of miracles and this is…

The note informed the former President of the challenge he had in supporting his daughter who had completed training as a hairdresser in Ada, to graduate. Excited after the donation at the…

We are dealing with it, and,…
The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has urged government to – as a matter of urgency – implement the full agreements on the non-basic salary of its members with the Ministry of Health or risk an “industrial disharmony”. The Association is suspecting government is deliberately frustrating the professional body’s efforts in fully implementing the August 2018 agreements. A statement issued at the end of GMA’s 2nd National Executive Council Meeting, held from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31, reminded all and sundry that the implementation of the agreements “was scheduled to start in October 2018”. “During the implementation process, it…
When a group of people are placed in a room, how they think becomes evident. The poor amongst them speak a particular language because they have been brought up as such. The wealthy, on the other hand, think far differently from the others because of their exposure. Poverty is a mindset and then it becomes a character. Mindset is cause. Every other thing is effect. Who a man is and will ever become largely depends how he has been fashioned to think. The fruits we will ever bear in this life are largely dependent on the seeds of thoughts that…
