Burkina Faso has lifted the suspension on the issuance of Special Export Authorisations (ASE) for fresh tomatoes from the country. This was disclosed by Ghana’s Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry (MOTAI), who welcomed the decision. The 24-Hour Economy Authority and the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the expansion of 24-hour operations across Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector. Three persons comprising one male and two females have been confirmed dead after a building near the Accra Newtown Experimental School collapsed on some worshippers. A total of 23 persons were rescued with the three confirmed dead. According to the Minister of Interior, Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, out of the total victims trapped under the rubble, 15 were females and eight were male with a few minors aged between seven and nine.
