Former President Jerry John Rawlings has bemoaned the attitude of some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in efforts to have a united front ahead of the next elections. An Accra Central District Court on Friday remanded seven more suspects into police custody in the killing of Major Maxwell Adam Mahama at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region. This brings to 51 the total number of suspects remanded, the police have said. The latest remanded suspects are expected to reappear on June 21. The suspects are being tried for lynching Major Mahama, then a captain in the military, on May 29.
